Amazonia 2017

Join Walt Anderson, Micah Riegner, and the crew of the riverboat Dorinha on a voyage of discovery in the heart of the Amazon–in comfort!  This trip is a naturalist’s dream, with incredible diversity of birds, primates, fishes, butterflies, and tropical plants.  We are limiting this to 14 total participants, even though the boat has larger capacity.  This will keep the intimacy of small parties in canoes or on trails, giving us opportunities to observe and share with each other with minimum impact.  We should see dolphins (there are two species here) every day, as well as many species of parrots, raptors, hummingbirds, trogons, kingfishers, toucans, woodpeckers, woodcreepers, antbirds (mind-boggling diversity), flycatchers (equally boggling), colorful tanagers, and a lot more.  Micah did the trip in June 2016, and they saw 14 species of primates and 16 species of bats!  This is the best remaining tropical rainforest in the world, and it is something you need to see to believe.  We encourage you to sign up as soon as possible to be part of this once-in-a-lifetime experience.  Here are the details:
