I had two wonderful safaris (11 and 8 participants respectively) in August-September 2021, the first since Covid precautions went into effect. We had to get PCR tests before flying and just before return, as well as a rapid test on arrival in Arusha, but these were minor inconveniences, and the trips went very smoothly, with incredible wildlife sightings and few other tourists competing with us. Each trip included an optional extension, which almost everyone elected, to Mkomazi National Park, where more than 200 African Wild Dogs have been repatriated, and rare Black Rhinos are managed. We witnessed the dramatic crossing of the Mara River by wildebeest on the Great Migration, and I had the best Leopard observations of any of my trips since I started in 1979! Hundreds of species of amazing birds also thrilled us. I took over 12,000 photos in the five weeks I was in Tanzania, and I will be releasing them with blog posts on Facebook little by little.
I have a wonderful collection of photos from my many safaris in Tanzania and Kenya, so please inquire if you are seeking some for publication. I am eager to use my experience and photos to inspire and inform future paintings, too.
I am interested in further info on these safaris
Info coming to your email.
I don’t know if I can afford it, but I am interested.
Hi Walt, I’m interested in info on the Safari in August. Thanks!
I’m interested in going if I am strong enough. I have wanted to go on safari since I was a young girl looking at National Geographic.
Please send me information on both excursions.
